The Federal Government has filed corruption charges against two members of the House of Representatives, Farouk Lawan and Emenalo Boniface, who have been accused of collecting bribe from the Chairman Zenon Oil, Femi Otedola.
The seven-count charge was filed by O.O. Fatunde on behalf of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke.
The first count of the charges showed that Messrs. Lawan and Emenalo demanded a $3 million (N450 million) bribe from Mr. Otedola.
